Hi, I am Adrian!
I have always loved art and photography. My love for art never stemmed from "The masters" ,but from my love for the beauty of nature and the interactions of elements around me.
As a young man, I grew up walking and playing in the vast open arid regions of the Karoo, exploring and enjoying it's beauty. It became part of who I am and how I look at all things around me. Later, I achieved a degree in agriculture (genetics and animal physiology) and managed a research farm for a few years. I got married to my beautiful wife in my late 20's.
We started moving around as her career took off and around 7 years ago we ended up in Port Elizabeth, where our life would change forever.
Mom was expecting our first and only child after 16 years of marriage. Just before his birth my wife bought me a Nikon D90 for my birthday, which changed my world from the point and shoot I had. Two years later I started studying "Photoshop Artistry" with Sebastian Michaels. From this base course, I expanded into Awake and later Kaizen. I will never stop learning and working on my craft through the ongoing efforts of mentors like Sebastian. I have spread my wings over the last 2 years into many other courses and tutorials, always looking for new inspiration and methods. I studied and achieved my diplomas in basic and advanced photography and a course in basic graphic design at Shaw Academy.
I love beauty in any form. I love "emotions" and it gives me the greatest joy to be able to put that on canvas or photographic paper, a format that can be enjoyed by all who sees it. I am not the typical photographer, I like movement, love, life, passion, joy, frustration, elation, pain, inspiration, exasperation, laughter and all others in between.
I want to capture moments that is real and warm and NOT always perfect. I want something of you in the photo that is engaging and true.
Thank You for visiting my site and taking time to read through it. Please, do not hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions, through the mail link at the top of the page.
